2022 Sunbuild Top End Gran Fondo Entries Are Now Open!

The Darwin Cycling Club and AusCycling have been working hard to organise the 2022 edition of the Sunbuild Top End Gran Fondo, and it’s time for you to make your plans, round up your friends and get those entries in! The Territory’s largest cycling event will return to the streets of Darwin on July 24, 2022, and with options to suit any rider and ability level there’s no reason not to pump up the tyres, get out there and ride! 

Preview – NSW Criterium Championships 2021

The NSW Criterium Championships are the chance for the fast riders and top road sprinters to turn on the pace at the state’s highest level.

134 riders will take on eight races on Sunday in Broke.

Thankfully, the Bureau has forecast a dry, mostly sunny autumnal day, with maximum temperatures of 22ºC keeping it comfortable.

The course

For the first time since 2012, the elite criterium titles will return to the charming Hunter Valley village of Broke.

Talbot claims memorable Oceania Road Race Championship crown 

Josie Talbot (Sydney Uni-Staminade) has claimed a breakthrough win at the 2022 Australian Unity Tour de Brisbane Oceania Road Race Championships and AusCycling National Road Series (NRS) stop, sprinting to victory from a select group of six ahead of Danielle De Francesco (ARA Pro Racing Sunshine Coast) and Amber Pate (InForm TMX MAKE). 

Australia wins 43 titles at 2022 Oceania Track Cycling Championships

Australian athletes won 43 Oceania titles at the recent 2022 Oceania Track Cycling Championships, held at Brisbane’s Anna Meares Velodrome and part of the inaugural combined Oceania Championships hosted by the Oceania Cycling Confederation, AusCycling, Tourism and Events Queensland and Brisbane Economic Development Agency as part of the Brisbane Cycling Festival presented by King St.
