Australia's best track cyclists will be in action on Sunday 6 March, at Melbourne's Darebin International Sports Centre Velodrome in the Quest Ivanhoe Austral Wheelrace and the 2022 AusCycling Madison National Championships.  

2022 will see the 124th running of the Austral Wheelrace, the world's oldest and still existing track cycling event, which began on the hallowed turf of the Melbourne Cricket Ground in 1887.  

One of Australia’s finest cyclists has passed, leaving behind a legacy as one of our greatest cyclists in the modern era.

Following a successful Victorian State Championships at DISC over the weekend, we are pleased to announce the Junior & Senior State Track teams that will represent Victoria at the 2022 AusCycling National Track Championships in Queensland at the end of March. Selectors have included both a mix of podium ready and podium potential athletes with a vision of not only achieving success in 2022, but for many years moving forward.

The first track national championship dominoes of 2022 will fall this Sunday at the 2022 AusCycling Elite Track Madison National Championships as part of the Quest Ivanhoe 124th Austral Wheelrace event at Darebin International Sports Centre (DISC).

The second edition of the UCI Cycling Esports World Championships will be held in the early morning this Sunday, February 27.

Across two races that will be broadcast live around the globe, 180 riders will take to the start line in Zwift’s New York map.
